AGILE ALLIANCE CONTINUES SUPPORT OF 5 SATURDAYS EDUCATION NONPROFIT

Sponsorship Allows Program to Engage & Inspire Students Learning Agile Skills

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…April 19, 2016…COSTA MESA, CALIF….5 Saturdays, an education program focused on empowering students through Agility and innovation, today announced that Agile Alliance, an international nonprofit committed to advancing Agile principles and practices in software development, has renewed its support of the program for 2016.

The Agile Alliance sponsorship will be used by 5 Saturdays to support student workshops in Orange and Los Angeles counties in the summer of 2016, as well as online and in-person training of volunteer professionals who facilitate the student workshops.

“The goals of 5 Saturdays align perfectly with Agile Alliance,” said Phil Brock, managing director of the Agile Alliance. “We are committed to advancing Agile principles and support 5 Saturdays’ efforts to teach students Agile practices as well as educate them about technology and business skills. The cornerstone of Agile is community, so we also are committed to training facilitators who play a key role in implementing the 5 Saturdays student workshops in their local areas.”
