5 SATURDAYS EDUCATION GROUP NAMES EXECUTIVE JAMES WRIGHT TO LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Nonprofit Program Teaches High School Students Technology & Business Skills

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…March 23, 2016…COSTA MESA, CALIF….5 Saturdays, an education program focused on teaching students technology and business skills, as well as Agile and Scrum principles, today announced that executive James Wright has joined its Leadership Council and will oversee marketing activities for the nonprofit.

Wright, currently the principal consultant at Go Time Agile, has extensive marketing experience using Agile principles. He has led product management, marketing, sales, engineering, business development, and operations functions in several industries, including enterprise software, computer storage, networking, test and measurement equipment, consumer electronics, and alternative fuels and energy products at a variety of large public and small private companies. Wright also devotes time to his community, and has served as a volunteer for more than 30 years with the Boy Scouts and church youth groups.

“I am thrilled to bring my depth of experience with marketing using Agile principles to 5 Saturdays and support its commitment to opening the door for students to careers in information technology and business,” Wright said. “I am committed to helping students acquire the academic, personal, and leadership skills they will need to be successful upon graduation.”
