5 Saturdays Education Program Names Leadership Council Group Helps Local Students Explore Careers In IT & Business
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…Feb. 12, 2015…COSTA MESA, CALIF….5 Saturdays, an innovative Orange County-based education program, today announced that it has named five members to its Leadership Council.
Members include: Joe Dailey, software process engineering manager; Jill Freeman-Stack, strategic communications professional; Steven Gold, business systems integration specialist and associate professor at Cal State Long Beach; Hope McShan, training business development manager; and, Robbie Smith, senior business systems and data analyst.
The group’s Leadership Council consists of members from different business sectors who provide input on the strategic direction and performance of the 5 Saturdays program.
5 Saturdays founder Dave Cornelius, DM, said, “We are pleased to form our leadership group. They bring expertise, knowledge, and different functional perspectives to our organization. Their significant experience and vision will help us grow and realize our full potential as we focus on collaborative and project-based learning and building value and student success in our communities. This includes our plans to offer two certifications in 2015, including Certified Agility Facilitator for 5 Saturdays facilitators and Certified Associate Team Agility Leader for students.”
